In Liberia, several civil society organizations have petitioned the Ministry of Health, calling for the allocation of at least 15% of the National budget toward the health sector in line with the Abuja declaration.

The organizations also called for a revision of past and current budget roadmaps in order to support the reduction in maternal and newborn mortality and mobility.
