Liberia’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry has launched a comprehensive five-year strategic plan aimed at revitalizing the country’s trade and investment landscape. The initiative is designed to strengthen economic competitiveness and expand opportunities for businesses nationwide.
According to the ministry, the plan focuses on attracting investment, improving market systems, and removing barriers that hinder private sector growth. It also seeks to create a more predictable and business-friendly environment for local and international investors.
Officials say the long-term goal is to diversify the economy and ensure that economic progress benefits all Liberians. The ministry believes the strategy will play a key role in shaping a more resilient and inclusive future for the country.
