Tensions flared in Liberia as Armed Forces personnel attacked police officers in Paynesville, near Monrovia, on Wednesday night.
The clash, believed to be retaliation, follows the police assault of an off-duty soldier on Tuesday over a motorcycle ban. A similar incident two weeks ago has heightened concerns over security.
Former Defense Minister Brownie Samukai blamed poor communication between security forces for the incident.
With no official response from authorities, citizens remain on edge over rising lawlessness in the country.
