A nun who was abducted last April in Burkina Faso has been released by her captors. 

The information was confirmed in a statement from the bishop of the city of Kaya, in the north-central region.

Sister Suellen Tennyson, an American citizen, was until her abduction serving in the commune of Yalgo, in the Namen-tenga province. 

As Tofik Abdul Nasir reports, the conditions of her release are yet to be made known.
