The Association of Foreign Press in Côte d'Ivoire has voiced concern over the incessant physical and verbal attacks and threats against correspondents of the international press.

The association points accusing fingers at some supporters of political parties and law enforcement agencies.

According to the association, six journalists have already face threats and attacks ahead of a tense election in the country.
