The National Human Rights Council (CNDH) in Côte d’Ivoire has addressed the recent surge in violence and hateful rhetoric against homosexuals.

In a statement, the CNDH urged the public to respect human rights and advised homosexuals living in Côte d’Ivoire to avoid behaviors that might be seen as provocative.
