Catholic bishops in Côte d’Ivoire are urging fair and transparent elections ahead of October’s presidential vote.

At a press conference in Abidjan, the bishops called on political and social actors to prioritize national stability.

With less than eight months to the polls, tensions are rising over electoral transparency.
