Investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of a major fire that erupted at the South African parliament building in Cape Town on Sunday.
This is according to presiding officers of the parliament who visited the building while firefighters were still struggling to put out the fire whose cause is still unknown.
Police say a suspect; a man in his 50s, has been taken into custody for questioning after he was arrested outside of the precinct when the fire started.
