In Mali, the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery was celebrated in style on Thursday.
Since December 2, 1949, the world has celebrated International Day for the Abolition of Slavery, which is the Convention for the Suppression of the Traffic in Persons, and other forms of human Exploitation.
As Abdullahi Hassan reports, Thursday’s celebration was held under the theme: slavery by descent in Mali, a brake on peace and social cohesion.
