A few years from now, oil exploration is expected to begin off Senegal's northern coast near the city of Saint Louis which has nearly 200 000 inhabitants.
The commencement of exploration will effectively restrict access to the sea by thousands of young people who survive on fishing in this city.
With no viable option for survival, many residents remain apprehensive about the feature.
