Hundreds of Gambian villagers along the southern Senegalese region of Cassamance border have been displaced after fighting erupted between Senegalese soldiers and Movement for Democratic Forces of Casamance MFDC.
Residents reported hearing an exchange of gunfire on Sunday as they fled their homes for safety.
