Human Rights Watch (HRW) has unveiled its World Report 2025, titled “A Year of Reckoning,” which examines human rights conditions in over 100 countries.
The report highlights key global issues, including the renewed Israeli-Hamas conflict, ongoing wars in Ukraine and Sudan, crises in Haiti and Syria, and instability in the Sahel. These conflicts have exacerbated human rights abuses, displacement, and humanitarian crises.
During a virtual press conference on Thursday, HRW panelists shared recommendations to enhance human rights protection and accountability worldwide, urging governments to prioritize human rights in their policy agendas.
