    Liberian President George Weah has directed all public offices to remain open on Friday; a day a nationwide protest is due to take place.
    A statement from the presidency late Wednesday said that Firday was not declared a national holiday and so civil servants should report to work on that day.
    The Council of Patriots says it will stage a mass protest on Friday to highlight corruption and other governance related issues under the administration of President George Weah.
    Ahead of the protest, WADR’s Adolphus Mawolo spoke to a Liberian political analyst, Ibrahim al- Bakri Nyei, about the governance problems Liberia is facing.
