We return to Ghana because the Auditor general, Daniel Domelevo, has been ordered by President Nana AkufoAddo, to proceed on accumulated leave of 123 days.
Hailed by many Ghanaian as one the best Auditor Generals to serve the country, Mr. Domelevo, has been in the bad books of government in recent times after he indicted top government officials including the Senior Minister Yaw OsafoMarfo.
The order by the President which came as a surprise to many especially anti-graft campaigners has been described as somewhat political by some while others have questioned the timing as it comes ahead of the December 7 elections.
By the time the Auditor general is expected to return to work, the election would have already been held.
