Ghanaian President convenes ECOWAS meeting over Mali crisis

    Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo has convened an ECOWAS meeting in Accra to discuss the political crises in Mali.

    The consultative meeting between all stakeholders and some heads of state will take place on Tuesday, September 15 and has become necessary following a military coup that forced the elected President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta to resign.

    Ghana’s Foreign Affairs Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, revealed this at a press briefing held by the Information Ministry on Sunday.
