Former Gambian President Yahya Jammeh says the Gambia Government must respect the joint communique that led to his departure for exile in Equatorial Guinea.

In a leaked audio circulating on the messaging platform Whatsapp, the former Gambian dictator urged his militants to hold a peaceful protest to demand Gambian authorities to respect the agreement.

Jammeh went into exile in 2017 after he was forced to leave power by regional forces.
