Members of the Ecowas Parliament are in Liberia for a two-week parliamentary session in the country.

It’s the first time since the 2004 restoration of peace in Liberia that the sub-regional lawmakers, led by their Senegalese-born president, Moustapha Cissé Lo, are convening a parliamentary session in the country.

The 115 lawmakers will discuss the latest xenophobic attacks on West African immigrants and others in South Africa, among other issues.
