Guinea’s military leader Mamadi Doumbouya is in Mali to attend the country’s 62nd-anniversary celebrations, which is coming on the eve of the ECOWAS extraordinary summit on the sidelines of the UN general assembly.
According to Doumbouya, he’s in Mali on a goodwill and working visit.
Asssimi Goïta and Mamadi Doumbouya will be discussing issues of concern to both nations.
Recall both countries are still suspended from ECOWAS bodies following their coup d'état.
