Guinea has officially declared that it is dealing with an Ebola epidemic after the deaths of at least three people from the virus.
The deceased and four others, fell ill with diarrhoea, vomiting and bleeding after attending the burial of a nurse in Goueke, near the Liberian border.
Health Minister Remy Lamah said officials were really concerned about the deaths, the first since the 2013-2016 outbreak which began in Guinea and left 11,300 dead across West Africa.
While the infected patients have been isolated in treatment centres, health workers are working to trace and isolate the contacts of the cases.
