Guinea’s transitional president, Mamadi Doumbouya, has pardoned former junta leader Moussa Dadis Camara.

Camara was serving a 20-year sentence for crimes against humanity linked to the 2009 Conakry massacre.

The pardon, announced on state TV, was granted on health grounds.
