Guinea Bissau President Umaru Sissoko Embalo has given indications that he could run for a second term in office.

This newest update comes a few days after Embalo announced that he would not run for president in the 2025 election.

While in a meeting with members of his party, the head of state of Guinea Bissau finally said that he would adhere to the decision of his political party.
