The first European Union (EU) technical assistance mission to strengthen the capacity of the Guinea-Bissau authorities on the control and certification of fishery products has begun.
Under the Taiex instrument, the mission aims to strengthen the technical capacity of the services of the relevant authorities on fisheries products and export certification said the EU ambassador, Sónia Neto.
As Atiewin Mbilla Lawson reports, Taiex is a technical assistance instrument of the European Commission designed at helping countries that want to export products to the EU to know, apply and comply with EU legislation.
