Greece led by its Foreign Affairs Minister, Nikolaos Dendies donated about one million doses of the Johnson and Johnson Vaccine to the Nigerian government on Monday. 

Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyema while appreciating Greece’s support in the area of defense said that the relationship between both sides would expand in the signing of Memoranda of Understanding on issues affecting both countries.

He appreciated the Greek government for the donation, adding that the cooperation would span to a multilateral level to include the United Nations and other multilateral organizations.
