Ghana’s President Akufo-Addo commits to peaceful, free & fair elections

President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo of Ghana has reiterated that his government will ensure that the December 7 general elections are free, fair and peaceful.

It comes at a time, a Member of Parliament and Minister for Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong has stated that the governing NPP will resort to every means possible to win the polls.

The president has also in the past stated that he cannot hand over to a person he defeated at the polls, referring to the NDC flagbearer, John Mahama.

Speaking at the Quadrennial Congress of the Trade Union Congress on Tuesday, August 20, Akufo Addo said the ultimate deciders will be the Ghanaian people
