Ghana’s Minority in Parliament has rejected the 10% salary increase for public sector workers, deeming it insufficient amid rising living costs.

Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin criticized the increment, citing past wage adjustments as benchmarks for fair compensation.

However, Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga defended the deal, calling it a sign of workers’ trust in the government’s economic policies.
