Ghana’s Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam has attributed the hardship being experienced in the country to the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme and apologised to Ghanaians for the discomfort they experienced as a result.
According to the minister, the restructuring process was necessary to reduce the country’s debt burden.
Adam’s communication follows the growing agitation from citizens about the increasing cost of living in Ghana.
