In Ghana, a leading member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Otchere-Darko, has disclosed that the revenue from the Electronic Transactions Levy (e-levy) has failed to live up to the expectations of the government.

In a series of tweets on Monday, the politician who many describe as the shadow Prime Minister expressed support for the government to opt for an International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout.
