Ghanaians in South Africa are currently living in fear following an alert by the high commission suggesting planned xenophobic attacks against foreigners.
The High Commission in a statement on Wednesday said individuals claiming to represent groups against the presence of foreigners have announced or broadcast plans to attack, rusticate or remove foreigners from their jobs or workplaces and even out of the country from the beginning of September 2022.
A Ghanaian, Ken Asante tells WADR, that foreigners are currently being prevented from accessing healthcare.
