The Institute of Economic Affairs of Ghana (IEA) has announced its plan towards conducting presidential debates for the leading political candidates in the December 2024 elections.
This follows calls by many for the institute to hold a debate for the leading contenders in the crucial polls.
This is besides the fact that John Dramani Mahama, a former president and the current flagbearer of the largest opposition party, has declared that he is not interested in debating the flagbearer of the ruling, Dr. Mahamudu.
But the Institute of Economic Affairs says it is already planning the national debate.
