A new Afrobarometer report has revealed growing public support for military intervention in Ghana’s politics.
The 2024 survey shows that 51% of Ghanaians now favor military action if elected leaders abuse their mandate, compared to 40% in 2022.
Meanwhile, opposition to military involvement has declined, dropping from 55% in 2022 to 47% this year.
The findings highlight a sharp erosion of public confidence in political leadership across the country.
