The Ghana Police Service and personnel of National Security on Wednesday, raided and closed down the recently opened office of an LGBTQ group in Accra.
This comes in the wake of public discourse over the opening of the offices, with many demanding its immediate closure and arrest of the occupants.
While the closure has been applauded by large section of the public, the legality or otherwise of the police’s action has come into question
