Ghana’s minister of education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum, says schools in the three regions of the north will not have to be closed down over a shortage of food. 

The minister says he has met with relevant stakeholders within the value chain to make provisions for the schools in the face the worsening food situation in senior high schools.
