Passengers of public transport operators in Ghana are having to cough up 20 percent more on transport fares following a decision by the largest private transport service to increase fares again. 

The Ghana Private Road Transport Union has for the second time already this year, increased their fares by 20 percent after a government backed increase in February of this year.
