The minority in Ghana's parliament is warning of sporadic increases in the price of fuel in the next pricing window, without government intervention.

Already, fuel prices have seen a significant rise in recent times with a litre currently selling at 1 dollar 20 cents. With crude oil prices reaching all-time highs since 2014, the fears of an increase in the price of the commodity are rife.

Edward Bawa is a member of the mines and energy committee of Ghana parliament.
