Ghana’s parliament have urgently implored the government to allocate funds for the resumption of operations at the Renal Unit of the renowned Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The outpatient department of the unit has remained closed for over six months due to insufficient funding. More than 50 kidney patients have reportedly lost their lives since the facility’s closure.
