The medical and dental council- of Ghana, says medical and dental degree certificates issued by schools from Ukraine from 2022, will not be recognized.

It follows the resort to an online mode of training by some Ukrainian medical schools due to the ongoing war with Russia.

But in a statement Medical and dental Council Ghana said all such platforms fall short of the process for training medical and dental students.

The statement advised all students who are yet to take advantage of the one-off opportunity to continue their training here in Ghana to seek transfer to other accredited medical or dental schools in other countries for the completion of their programmes.
