The presidential candidate of the largest opposition political party in Ghana, the National Democratic Congress says he is unwilling to accept the results of the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections declared by the Electoral Commission (EC).

The result which was in favour of incumbent President Nana Akufo-Addo has been described as largely free and fair despite some pockets of violence which left 5 dead.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday night John Mahama who garnered 47.36% of the total votes accused the Electoral Commission of manipulating the elections results, adding that all legal avenues would be explored to ensure the will of the people is reflected.
