Ghana’s government has blamed the country’s poor performance in the latest Press Freedom Index Report on a change in the methodology adopted by reporters without borders.

The Deputy Minister of Information Fatimatu Abubakar made this point at the 2022 UNESCO/GJA World Press Freedom Day Event on May 4th, 2022 at the Ghana International Press Center, GIPC in Accra.

The West African Nation fell by 30 places in the latest report having moved from 30th in 2021 to 60th in 2022. Correspondent
