Ghana consumer inflation hits new high of 37.2%

Ghana’s annual inflation rate was 37.2% in September, the nation’s statistics agency said, as it announced changes to the way it calculates the data. 

The Ghana statistical service has shifted the reference year to 2021, from 2018, and will update historical figures with the new mode of computation.
