The Ghana Bar Association (GBA) has expressed fears over the upsurge in armed robbery and other violent crimes being recorded in parts of the country.
This follows the killing of one of its members, Richard Badombie, by armed men in the Savannah Region over the weekend.
In a statement on Monday, the group implored the relevant security agencies to carry out swift and thorough investigations of the incident in order to identify the perpetrators and make them face the full rigors of the law.
Meanwhile, the police have been providing updates on the investigations which have so far resulted in the arrest of three suspects.
