In Ghana, the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has sanctioned street preachers for using public address system in the Central Business District (CBD) without a permit and making noise contrary to the law.

Public Health Officers of the Assembly stormed the CBD to enforce the Abatement of Noise Bye-Law.
