Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo, has assembled a team of experts to work towards the procurement and distribution of the COVID-19 Vaccine in the country. This was revealed during the President’s 20th State address on measures to combat to spread of the virus.
So far, Ghana has recorded 331 deaths from the virus with 991 active cases. Concerns however remain, that there may be a surge in cases as many kick-start Christmas festivities.
During the late-night address on Sunday, President Akufo-Addo also cautioned citizens to ensure compliance with covid-19 protocols, while maintaining that beaches and pubs remain closed.
