German authorities have arrested a member of former President Yahya Jammeh’s hit squad for suspected crimes committed in the Gambia between 2003 and 2006.

Bai Lowe is accused of crimes against humanity and is expected to be brought before an investigating judge of the Federal High Court to decide on the execution of his pre-detention trial.

Meanwhile, the Jammeh to Justice Campaign aimed at ensuring the extradition of The Gambia’s Former President Yahya Jammeh, to face justice for the 2005 massacre of 44 Ghanaian migrants in The Gambia has welcomed the arrest.

Coordinator of the campaign William Nyarko has been speaking to WADR’s Atiewin Mbillah-Lawson
