In Niger, General Abdourahmane Tiani has appointed members to the Consultative Council for Refoundation, marking a key milestone in the country’s post-conference transition process.

The appointments follow the national conference held in Niamey in February 2025, which set the framework for rebuilding national institutions and governance structures.

The council’s mandate includes overseeing reforms and ensuring the effective functioning of transitional institutions under the Consultative Council for Rebuilding (CCR).
