The Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission TRRC of the Gambia will present its report to President Adama Barrow after two years of work.
The commission was established by an Act of National Assembly in December 2017 to investigate and establish human rights violations in the Gambia from July 1994 to January 2017.
Hundreds of witnesses have testified before the commission some of which include perpetrators who accused former President Yahya of ordering extra judicial killings.
Among these include the murder of about 44 Ghanaians and the report is expected to recommend for Jammeh’s prosecution.
