The sole survivor of the July 2005 massacre that led to the killing of more than 50 West African citizens Martin Kyere has testified before the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission of the Gambia on Monday.
Martin was among a host of West African migrants arrested by the Gambia security forces when their boat drifted on the Gambia shore while enroute to Europe. His colleagues were executed but he managed to escape.
Our Banjul Correspondent Sankulleh Janko attended the hearing and he now reports.
