President Adama Barrow has visited the home of former President Yahya Jammeh “out of respect” for the former president.

The Gambian leader says the visit was meant to reconcile the people of the country.

The visit came a month after President Barrow formed an alliance with the former ruling party of Mr. Jammeh ahead of the December 4 presidential election.
