Gambian opposition leader, Lawyer Ousainou Darboe, has clarified the United Democratic Party’s (UDP) position on Gambia’s 2024 Draft Constitution, which is set to be presented in Parliament for the second time later this month.

The clarification follows widespread speculation on social media after Darboe met with President Adama Barrow in a meeting facilitated by former ECOWAS Commission President, Dr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas.
