The government of The Gambia has described claims by opposition leader and former Vice President of the country Ousainou Darboe that, the government secretly received crude oil from Nigeria.
Party leader of the United Democratic Party (UDP) while on his tour of the nation said the Nigerian government gave crude oil to The Gambia but the government is keeping it a secret.
But in a statement signed by government spokesperson Ebrima Sankareh, the government said the claims are fatally false and malicious.
