Gambia: Former Attorney General denies aiding military junta

The former attorney and solicitor general of the Gambia has denied aiding and abetting the Arm Forces Provisional Ruling Council (AFPRC) during the transitional period after the 1994 Coup d' etat.

Amie Bensouda vehemently denied drafting the decrees of the military, adding that she takes no responsibility for the actions of the junta members.
